Kickboxing/Muy Thai

Master the art of striking with this mix of Traditional Muay Thai and Western-Style Kickboxing. Learn fundamental punching, kicking, elbow, knee, and clinch techniques while enjoying a challenging and exciting workout! This class is designed for all skill levels beginner to advanced.

MMA - Mixed Martial Arts

MMA or Mixed Martial Arts combines techniques, principles and philosophies from the 4 major combat sports (wrestling, boxing, brazilian ju jit su and Muay Thai). We will teach you how to effectively strike, grapple, submit and defend yourself in our exclusive 30 foot professional MMA cage.

NO-GI BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

We are an affiliate school of the world renowned Team Mohler out of Dallas, Texas.

NO-GI BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU is a form of ground-fighting where the competitors do not wear a gi (also known as a kimono) which is required in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, striking is not allowed. (We do teach no-gi grappling with strikes in our MMA class.)

How is No-Gi Submission Grappling Different from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?

In this program, students wear shorts and a tee-shirt or a rash guard (a tight-fitting elastic shirt) instead of a gi. With a gi, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner enjoys a much more technical submission game because he or she can grab the gi to control the opponent and use the gi to aid in submissions. Submission grappling is a much more slippery and faster-paced fight because there is nothing to grab onto apart from each other’s bodies. Consequently, the no gi game requires much more speed and strength. Moreover, many of the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques are either limited or completely eliminated.
BUNGEE FITNESS

Fight or Flight takes the science of plyometrics to new heights, with a bungee-assisted, cardio-focused workout. Use body weight and bungees to create resistance and master the art of flying! Tone muscles without the damaging impact, creating a fun and exciting workout where you can expect to burn maximum calories and challenge yourself in a new way!

Level 1:

This is an introductory dance-based bungee fitness class for beginners.  We require that everyone starts with this class before moving up to learn the proper moves and form.  This class will include lots of instruction, but will still be a blast with a great calorie burn!

Level 2:

HIIT Bungee:

This is a HIIT style workout done in bungees using hand weights and/or sand bells.  You will tone your upper and lower body, burn calories, and have fun while doing so! Level 1 class experience is preferred but not required.

*Everyone will sign a waiver and be weighed in to determine the proper number of bungees and the correct size harness. The weight range to participate is 100-225 lbs per the bungee manufacturer.  Participants must be at least 13 years of age and in good health, cannot be pregnant or have had surgery in the last 6 months.
Youth No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
We are an affiliate school of the world renowned Team Mohler out of Dallas Texas.
This program is designed for kids ages 4-14. Younger kids will learn basic techniques, including self-defense, in a fun and safe environment. Our kids learn the Black Belt Creed and how to act like a Black Belt through our six Power Principles: Modesty, Courtesy, Integrity, Self Control, Perseverance, and Indomitable Spirit.
 
Older kids will also learn age-appropriate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques. We teach submissions, sweeps, passing the guard and basic wrestling take-downs. We train in a safe professional environment.
